Special events are held throughout the year in downtown Paso Robles, from the Valentine Movie Night at Park Cinemas in February to the Downtown Christmas Light Parade. These events change with the seasons, are free to the public and draw the community together while showcasing downtown for locals and visitors alike.Halloween is always a special time in downtown, where thousands flock to the park for trick-or-treating, as is Christmas, when Santa Claus makes a special appearance at the holiday house. In the fall, heritage tradition comes alive with the annual Pioneer Day parade. During summer, lay out your blankets, bring your picnic basket and friends to the weekly Concerts in the Park series.
