The Historic Carnegie Library is a treasured Paso Robles landmark located in the heart of Downtown City Park. Built in 1908 with funding from philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, the beautifully preserved building served as the community’s public library for nearly nine decades. Today, it is home to the Paso Robles History Museum, El Paso de Robles Area Historical Society, and Virginia Peterson Research Library, preserving and sharing the stories, photographs, artifacts, and heritage of the Paso Robles community.
